"I have read the links which you kindly provided and I now understand that the project is only now beginning to take shape. Naturally, Eden Rivers Trust is concerned that this initiative may have a severely negative impact upon the biodiversity of the Solway in general and the Eden Catchment (which has SAC/SSSI status) in particular! With the desire to make a constructive contribution to the development of the project, can you please confirm that we will be invited to become an active participant. We have been researching, educating and conserving since 1996 and would bring a great deal of relevant experience to the Project Review Group.
